FIELD: drying technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for drying cereal grains and oilseeds. In a grain dryer, including a rectangular shaft, forming a path of a gravitationally moving grain layer, rotary-type grain loading and unloading dispensers; two opposite walls of the shaft are made perforated and equipped with air supply and air exhaust boxes with branch pipes and dampers installed in them; partitions are placed between the boxes and perforated walls, one of which divides the grain dryer into zones of low-temperature, high-temperature drying and cooling, and the remaining partitions are offset relative to each other along the height of the shaft and provide a zigzag movement of the drying agent in the transverse direction through the grain layer, and in the path of the gravitationally moving grain layer between the zones there are additionally rotary type dispensers, each of which has a hollow shaft with holes; all dispensers are installed configured for vertical movement; in the air supply and air exhaust boxes between the partitions, pipes with dampers are additionally installed, the opening and closing of which ensures a zigzag movement of the drying agent through the drying and cooling zones; in this case, the formed intermediate zones in the path of the gravitationally moving grain layer are used to introduce an antioxidant into the grain layer through holes in the hollow blade shafts of the dispensers.
EFFECT: dryer allows intensifying the drying process.
