SUBSTANCE: designs of drainage distributors used in facilities for the purification of gases, aqueous solutions or other liquids in industry, energy, including nuclear, and public utilities. The filter element for purification of gases and liquids contains a housing in the form of a pipe with holes in the working area and with flat plastic filter rings fixed on it with spacers and flat metal rings. The spacer elements are made in the form of convex rifts, and the mutual spatial arrangement of the rifts of adjacent rings is independent with the possibility of making adjacent filter rings with different arrangement of rifts. Flat metal rings are made without rifts and are installed through several flat plastic filter rings, for example, 5-7. The diameter of flat metal rings is larger than the diameter of flat plastic filter rings, for example, by 4-8 mm.

EFFECT: simplification of device manufacturing, reduction of metal consumption, dimensions of the filter element, ensuring uniform distribution of the medium in the filter material layer. This increases the depth of its regeneration or washing, thereby increasing the duration of the working filter cycle at the same or even lower costs of chemicals and water.
