FIELD: filtration technology; gas, water and other fluid purification units; heat-power engineering; public services.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filtering cap has body with stack of flat plates secured on it; plates have center hole; stack is made from filtering and spacer plates; configuration of spacer plates and inner holes of filtering plates is so selected that cavity of inner holes of filtering plates is brought in communication with filtering surface; outer sizes of spacer plates are lesser than outer sizes of filtering plates by magnitude equal to tenfold thickness of spacer plate. Filtering plates may be made in form of circle with center hole in form of star with straight beams and spacer plates may be made in form of start with radial beams or tangentially bent beams; filtering plates may be made in of circle with center hole and spacer plates may be made in form of star with radial or tangential beams and central hole equal to diameter of body. Plates shall be located in stack at alternating tangential flows. Body is made in form of pipe union and stack of filtering and spacer plates rests on its top.

EFFECT: low cost of filtering cap; increased service life in aggressive media.
