FIELD: solid particles separation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of separation of solid particles by density and can be used in mining, chemical and other industries, in particular for effective separation of fine gold from ore and concentrates. The magnetic fluid separator includes a magnetic system in form of permanent magnets, in interpolar gap of which a separation device with partition filled with magnetic fluid, loading and unloading devices are installed. The separation device is made of annular fixed chute with a bottom equipped with a slot behind the outer contour of which there is a magnetic system in form of annular magnets. Inside the fixed chute there is a movable gutter formed by two circular planes tilted mirror-like to each other, which are rigidly connected to radial trapezoidal partitions with the base up with scrapers fixed in lower part in form of blades. The movable chute is connected by a traverse with a shaft and an electric motor. In loading and unloading area there is a stirrer and device in form of wheel with brushes.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency of particle separation by density.
