FIELD: medicine; coloproctology; oncology; surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the treatment of patients with a localized form of cecal cancer. Laparoscopically assisted ileocecal resection with extended D3 lymphadenectomy is performed. The ileocolic artery is sequentially crossed 6–7 mm distal to the mouth of the artery and the vein of the same name is 5–6 mm proximal to the level of its confluence with the superior mesenteric vein, respectively. At the level of intersection of these structures, as well as in the area of the mouth of the right colon artery, a volume of lymphadenectomy is performed, including removal of the following groups of lymph nodes: 201, 202, 203, 212 and 213, followed by the application of ileoascendoanastomosis.
EFFECT: method provides increased treatment efficiency while reducing postoperative complications, reducing the risk of relapse, and improving the quality of life of patients.
