FIELD: medicine, colorectal surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for marking regional lymph nodes in the surgical treatment of colon cancer. Indocyanine green dye is injected into the submucosal layer of the colon at a distance of 2–3 cm from the visible border of the tumor 1–24 hours before surgery at a concentration of 2.5 mg/ml in an amount of 0.4–0.6 ml, 2 times. During surgical intervention, visual diagnostics of regional lymph nodes is carried out in the light of infrared fluorescence using a wavelength of exciting radiation of 750–810 nm and a wavelength of recorded fluorescence of 820–860 nm.
EFFECT: invention improves the efficiency of colon cancer treatment due to effective labeling of regional lymph nodes, which, in turn, ensures high quality of lymphadenectomy.
