FIELD: thermal engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used in the manufacture of heat flow sensors used to measure heat flows on the surface of various objects, in particular, when measuring non-stationary heat flows under the influence of aerodynamic loads when conducting ground-based heat and thermal strength tests of structural elements of high-speed aircraft and space technology objects, as well as for controlling heat flows during testing. A method has been proposed for manufacturing a heat-sensing element of a heat flow sensor with a transverse temperature gradient, which includes manufacturing a disk from constantan with a hole in the center, subsequent countersinking of a hole on one side of the disk, threading a copper wire into the hole, forming a ball at the end of the copper wire by melting, indentation with deformation ball into a countersink, its welding to a constantan disk and subsequent mechanical processing of the bead, the formation of a ball on a copper wire is carried out by a laser pulse in a process gas environment, while the optical axis of the laser pulse is perpendicular to the axis of the copper wire and intersects with it, and welding of the deformed copper ball to constantan disk is produced by the method of local melting of a copper ball through exposure to pulsed laser radiation in a process gas environment, with the optical axis of the laser pulse perpendicular to the plane of the constantan disk.
EFFECT: simplification of the process of manufacturing HSE and improvement of its quality.
