FIELD: hot-rolled corner profile.
SUBSTANCE: profile contains two shelves of thickness S, of the same or different widths, connected to each other at an angle β=88-92° a rectangular element with an internal radius Rin and sides A = Rin + S. An intermediate element of length L=(1.2-2.5)*S is installed between one of the shelves and the rectangular element and is connected to the shelf at an angle ϕ. The outer surfaces of the rectangular element protrude above the corresponding outer surfaces of the shelves by the amount C=(0.2-1.0)*S and are mated to each other with a radius Rout=(0.1-1.0)*S.
EFFECT: load-bearing capacity of the corner profile increases with low metal consumption.
