FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction of snow-ice coverings of aerodromes and can be used for the construction of aerodromes in the polar regions of the planet, where there are zones of cover glaciers (Antarctica, Arctic islands), as well as on long-term floating pack ice of the Arctic. Device for creation of snow-ice cover of airfields on ice surfaces of the Far North includes trailed rectangular frame containing four rigidly connected to each other metal beams of U-shaped equal-flange profile, two of which are located transversely to the axis of movement, and the other two are located longitudinally to the axis of movement. Wherein crosswise channels are secured on lengthwise channels so that wall of every channel is coupled with flange of every crosswise channel. Device contains cutting-loosening elements, which are pieces of metal beams of L-shaped equal-flange profile with flanges sharpened in lower part, rigidly fixed with equal pitch on wall of rear transverse channel so that one of flanges of angle is conjugated with wall of rear transverse channel, and lower sharpened edge of angle extends downwards beyond lower surface of longitudinal channels. Front ends of the longitudinal channels are pointed upwards.

EFFECT: invention provides reduction of labour and power consumption for creation of snow-ice cover of airfields in zone of cover glaciers and possibility of creation of snow-ice cover, characterized by increased operational period of runway in summer season.
