FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to implementing methods for assessing the technical condition of transformer equipment of power stations and substations. A definer of the degree of aging of the internal insulation of a power oil-filled transformer, containing: long-term memory intended for periodic, with recording of the date and/or time of measurement, storage of successive temperature values measured by a temperature sensor located in the transformer oil of the power oil-filled transformer; a processor connected by a two-way data exchange bus with long-term memory and programmed to find the degree of polymerization of the paper of the internal insulation of a power oil-filled transformer by the amount of methanol released when heating the internal insulation of a power oil-filled transformer, dissolved in the transformer oil and located in the sample of the transformer oil, taking into account the temperature of the transformer oil measured at a given time before sampling to take into account the inertia of methanol sorption-desorption processes in the tank of a power oil-filled transformer under the influence of seasonal changes in ambient temperature and the current load of the power oil-filled transformer; data input means connected to the processor and designed to input specific parameters of the transformer oil and internal insulation of the power oil-filled transformer; a comparison and visualization unit to which a methanol concentration meter in transformer oil is connected, and which is connected to the output of the processor to compare the found degree of polymerization of the paper of the internal insulation of a power oil-filled transformer with specified limits and to visualize the comparison result.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of assessing the degree of aging of the internal insulation of an oil-filled power transformer with the expansion of the arsenal of technical means without decommissioning the power oil-filled transformer.
