DEVICE FOR MONITORING POWER TRANSFORMERS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01R31/62 G01R31/12

Abstract RU 2814456 C1

FIELD: control and measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and measuring equipment used to monitor the condition of power transformers during operation. The device can be used to control, localize and simulate various types of discharge processes occurring in the insulation of high-voltage power equipment (high-voltage power oil transformers, etc.), and determine their parameters. The proposed device for monitoring power transformers contains a simulator with an expanded set of defects, which includes four electrical dischargers of different shapes and materials from which they are made, simulating signals from various defects; an additional switch for the type of defects has been introduced. In this case, each type of defect reproduced by the defect simulator is associated with an acoustic signal recorded by acoustic sensors and a quantitative description of the parameters for various forms of recorded acoustic signals. In this case, the switch input is connected to the output of the step-up transformer, and the switch outputs are connected to the inputs of one of four electrical dischargers of various shapes and materials located in the body of the oil-filled tank of the defect simulator.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of monitoring various defects in power oil transformers, their recognition, localization and simulation of discharge processes.
