FIELD: adhesives.
SUBSTANCE: device is proposed for producing adhesive thread, containing a feeder for supplying adhesive-free raw thread, an adhesive tank for containing and storing adhesive granules, a main heater located in the lower part of the adhesive tank and defining the activation zone of the adhesive tank, in which adhesive granules melt, a horizontally located closed container, which is connected at the first end to the activation zone of the adhesive tank. The closed container has at least one inlet and at least one outlet. By passing raw thread through a closed container, the raw thread is wetted with adhesive over its entire outer surface without oxidizing the adhesive. An at least partially air-filled expansion pipe is located on the closed container to allow compensation for changes in the volume of molten adhesive. The invention also relates to a device for gluing workpieces, as well as a method for producing an adhesive thread and a method for gluing workpieces.
EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency during use.
