FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for melting and applying thermoplastic adhesive (glue-melt) and can be used for production of hand tools intended for accurate application of small portions of molten glue in minor repair, hand-made, restoration works, and can serve as a basis for creation of a whole range of devices similar to hot-melt handles and guns. Device for application of thermoplastic adhesive melted material includes container for adhesive material, system of batching adhesive material, heating and creation of excess pressure. Container for the adhesive material is tight and heat-insulated. Glue dosing system is made in the form of carbon thread, heated by electric current passing through it, touching with its upper part of glue material and moving along its length glue molten material to zone of glued elements location. Overpressure in sealed container for adhesive material is created due to melting of glue material.
EFFECT: reduced weight and dimensions of the device for applying thermoplastic adhesive molten material compared to available analogues, which makes it possible to manufacture this device in the form of a convenient hand tool having high energy efficiency and productivity, which is resistant to frequent switching on and off, note here that there is no necessity to remove and clean residues of solidified adhesive material from device.
