FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: device for boosting a diesel internal combustion engine (ICE) in order to improve its throttle response. The proposed device for short-term boosting of a power plant with diesel internal combustion engine 1 containing: air distributor 2 located on diesel internal combustion engine 1, high-pressure cylinder 5 for natural gas with a manual shut-off valve, a gas supply line to air distributor 2, including pressure sensor 7, electrically controlled valve 8, coarse gas filter 9, reducer 10, fine gas filter 11, check valve 12. The device contains check valves 12, 16, electromechanical corrector 13 of the fuel injection start angle, electronic control unit 14, and push-button switch 15. Natural gas is supplied to the cylinders of diesel internal combustion engine 1 by electromagnetic gas injectors 4 screwed into the heads of the diesel internal combustion engine blocks according to the number of cylinders, connected by pipelines to air distributor 2 and configured to be controlled by electronic control unit 14, depending on the indicators of fuel injection advance angle sensors 17 and the position of high pressure fuel pump rack 18.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of using the device for short-term boosting of the internal combustion engine by eliminating the critical increase in the maximum cycle pressure in the internal combustion engine cylinder and reducing the dynamic load of the internal combustion engine.
