FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: mould release coating contains filler, binder, and water. Liquid glass was used as a binder. A suspension of red mud was used as a filler with the following ratio of components, wt.%: 60 – 70 red mud suspension with a red mud content of 8 – 13 wt.%, 30 - 40 liquid glass, and over 100% water in an amount ensuring a coating density of 1000 - 1050 kg/mm3.
EFFECT: high technological properties of the coating in a liquid state.
