FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used for painting of casting metal moulds intended for casting of non-ferrous metals and alloys. Composition of release coating for casting metal moulds includes filler containing talc and powdered quartz, binder in form of liquid glass and water. Filler additionally contains dolomite, aluminosilicates of alkali and alkali-earth metals and red mud; the coating contains components at the following ratio, wt.%: dolomite up to 5; talc up to 10; aluminosilicates of alkali and alkali-earth metals up to 10; red mud up to 1; powdered quartz up to 5; liquid glass 5–15; water – the rest, wherein the filler has fraction of 0.25 mm.
EFFECT: coating is characterized by high values of sedimentation stability, covering power.
