FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of diagnosing electrogalvanic intolerance in the oral cavity. Electrochemical potentials are measured on all metal dentures in the oral cavity using a device that includes a digital voltmeter with an input resistance at four points on each metal inclusion under study, taking into account the type of closure of the dentition. The parameters of electrochemical potentials relative to the reference electrode are recorded in the area of the lateral group of teeth on the occlusal surface, contact surfaces — medial, distal, and in the cervical region, and in the frontal group of teeth on the contact surfaces — medial, distal, in the cervical region and depending on the type of closure on the palatal, vestibular surfaces or cutting edge. Based on the data obtained, the electrochemical potential difference index is calculated, taking into account the lowest and highest electrochemical potential indicators. A reading above 80 mV indicates the presence of electrogalvanic intolerance.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measuring electrochemical potentials on crowns and bridges made of metal alloys is achieved by obtaining digital data from surfaces more susceptible to destructive influences, with their subsequent registration.
