FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry. The device for measuring biopotentials contains a voltmeter, to the measuring outputs of which a cable is connected, divided into two wires. Each of the wires has a detachable connection with the corresponding measuring electrode, which can be placed in the oral cavity, to which, using a cable, it is possible to connect a set of sterilizable electrodes with short and long atraumatic working parts. The probe adapter has an adapter length of about 1 m and a protective screen along the entire length to reduce interference. The voltmeter contains a wireless communication module for transmitting data to a personal or tablet computer, built-in memory for storing data and recalling them for subsequent analysis. The method for determining bioelectric potentials in the oral cavity consists in placing electrodes in the oral cavity: between metal inclusions of fixed dentures (M-M), and/or between metal inclusions and the oral mucosa (M-OM), and/or between dental implants (DI-DI), and/or between metal inclusions and dental implants (M-DI), and/or between dental implants and oral mucosa (DI-OM). The value of biopotentials is measured three times at each point. Using a wireless communication module, the data is transmitted to a personal or tablet computer for further analysis.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement, safety of performed manipulations, as well as improved quality of measurement by measuring biopotentials in hard-to-reach places of the oral cavity by increasing the length of the measuring electrode.
