SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for oil production without the use of downhole pumps with gas extraction from the annulus of oil wells. A method of downhole oil production, including periodic injection of high-pressure gas into the displacement chamber of a gas-lift well to lift formation production through a tubing string, extraction of gas from the annulus by a high-pressure compressor using a liquid piston to increase the well's flow rate, and its injection into the well's flow manifold, characterized in that the gas taken by the compressor from the annulus by closing the solenoid valve on the line of its injection into the flow manifold under high pressure is periodically directed into the replacement chamber through a flexible pipeline lowered into the well outside the main tubing string, and after complete displacement of formation products into the tubing string from the replacement chamber, an electromagnetic valve is opened to allow gas from the flexible pipeline and gas pumped out by the compressor from the annulus to enter the well manifold together, and during the period of gas injection into the flow manifold, gas from the flexible pipeline is sent directly to the compressor intake along with gas from the annulus.

EFFECT: using the compressor power reserve when extracting gas from the annulus of the well for periodic injection of the selected gas under high pressure into the well replacement chamber and pumpless lifting of formation products along the tubing string.
