SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of producing spherical gunpowder. Spherical dual-base powder for loading cartridges for 12 gauge smooth-bore weapons with a shot projectile weight of 32 g contains pyroxylin 1 Pl, chemical resistance stabilizer diphenylamine, ethyl acetate, moisture. The components are contained in the following ratio, wt.%: diphenylamine - 0.3-1.0, ethyl acetate - 0.4-0.9, moisture - 0.3-0.5, centralite II - 0.1-0.3, nitroglycerin - 13, 0-13.3, pyroxylin 1 Pl with a volumetric concentration of nitrogen oxide of 211.9-213.0 ml NO/g - balance. Bulk density is 0.880-0.936 kg/dm3, specific heat of combustion is 4.52-4.55 MJ/kg.
EFFECT: stability of ballistic properties is ensured in 12 gauge smooth-bore weapons with a shot shell weight of 32 g.
