SURGICAL POLYMER MEMBRANE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61L15/24 A61L15/28 A61L15/44

Abstract RU 2813120 C1

FIELD: medicine; surgery.

SUBSTANCE: three-layer surgical polymer membrane with the layers obtained by preparing and sequentially applying polymer solutions to a glass substrate, followed by layer-by-layer drying at a temperature of 45–50°C with simultaneous air convection to constant weight, and: the polymer solution from which the first layer is obtained is an aqueous 1% by weight solution of the sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose; the polymer solution from which the second layer is obtained is an aqueous 1% by weight solution of sodium calcium alginate; the polymer solution from which the third layer is obtained is an aqueous 5% by weight solution of polyvinylpyrrolidone. It is possible to add a solution of iohexol and levofloxacin substance to the second and third layers, respectively.

EFFECT: ensuring the achievement of reliable strengthening of the anastomotic suture line and individual sutures in conditions of a compromised intestinal wall, as well as reducing the likelihood of developing their failure and adhesions in the area of surgical intervention.
