FIELD: personal hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of preservation of compositions for personal hygiene, in particular for hair care. The following is proposed: a composition for personal hygiene containing piroctone olamine, sodium benzoate and a fragrance containing a fragrance component being undecalactone. Also the following is proposed: a method of preserving a composition by using a combination of the specified components and using the specified combination of components for preserving the composition for personal hygiene.
EFFECT: invention provides a synergistic chemical combination against gram-negative fermenting bacteria that can be used for the preservation of personal care compositions.
