FIELD: metal coatings.
SUBSTANCE: applying nickel coatings by chemical reduction from solutions used in microelectronics, instrument making and other industries. The use of a polyfunctional organic additive of a series of bis(4-R-2-aminophenyl) disulfides with a concentration of 0.001-0.03 mmol/l as a leveler in a solution for the chemical deposition of nickel-phosphorus coatings is proposed.
EFFECT: reduction in the degree of Rz roughness, varying from 0.17 to 0.26 μm, of nickel-phosphorus coatings with high corrosion resistance, due to a decrease in the corrosion potential by 0.201 V and the corrosion current by 7.87 μA/cm2, i.e by 91.8%, compared to uncoated material.
