FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used for chemical nickel-plating of wide range of matrix made of steel, cast iron and aluminium. Method includes preparation of solution for nickel-plating by means of consecutive solution of components, preparation of surfaces by means of chemical degreasing, coating of nickel from the solution, containing, g/dm3: sulfurous nickel 16 - 27, sodium hypophosphite 21 - 24, sal ammonia 28 - 32, ammonia 47 - 52, citric-acid sodium 40 - 50, nanodiamonds 3 - 15, at pH 8.0 - 9.0 and temperature 84 - 89°C, washing by cold and hot water, drying and thermal treatment. Nanodiamonds are introduced into solution in the form of hydrosol or suspension or powder.
EFFECT: increasing of operating characteristic of coatings - microhardness, wear resistance and corrosion stability.
