FIELD: sulphur reduction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for reducing sulphur in crude oil and can be used in the petrochemical, oil production, oil and gas and oil refining industries. The invention relates to a method for reducing sulphur in petroleum products, which uses a reagent mixed with the feedstock to obtain a homogeneous mixture, which is supplied to the reactor, where it is processed together with ferromagnetic elements in a rotating electromagnetic field, and then goes to separation to separate ferromagnetic particles, water and sedimentation. The reagent used is a 20% solution of hydrogen peroxide in an amount of 20% of the volume of the feedstock, which is homogenized with the feedstock when heated to 60°C in a buffer tank, then the homogeneous mixture is fed into the reactor, where it is processed under the influence of ferromagnetic elements, then it is moved to sediment and compact foreign bodies and excess water into successively located sedimentation tanks.
EFFECT: reduction in the level of resource and energy consumption, an increase in the degree of purification of petroleum products from sulphur.
