FIELD: microscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to interference transmission microscopes, and is intended to measure the optical path difference in translucent objects using a set of objectives and glass slides of varying thickness or located in a liquid layer of unknown thickness. An interference microscope with an optical path difference compensator contains an interferometer, including beam splitters and a support arm with a modulating mirror, an optical system consisting of a lens and a tube component, a photodetector and an optical path difference compensator, consisting of a mirror and mechanisms for longitudinal and transverse movement.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to measure the optical path difference in translucent objects using a set of lenses and glass slides of varying thickness or located in a liquid layer of unknown thickness.
