FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for optimisation of gas-lift operations. Disclosed is a method for monitoring, diagnosis and optimisation of operation of gas-lift system, which includes collecting measurement data, representing state of gas-lift system, storing measurement data, comparison of measured data with calculated well model data for well and identification of conditions of gas-lift system based on discrepancies between measurement data and calculated data. Method further includes updating model to reflect probable conditions and selected corrections of probable conditions, generation of curves of efficiency of gas-lift system using updated model and presenting to user actions recommended to achieve stable performance of gas-lift system with operating point of gas-lift system on at least one of multiple curves of efficiency of gas-lift system.
EFFECT: higher quality of optimising gas-lift operations.
