FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: assembly for an extendable and foldable boom and an agricultural sprayer with such assembly, which can be used in agriculture. The assembly contains a first rod section 20, a second rod section 21 connected to the first rod section 20 by means of a hinge joint 22, configured to rotate 180 degrees between the first and second rod sections 20, 21, a device 28 of hinge elements connected as to the first, and with the second rod section 20, 21, and the actuator. In this case, the actuator and the device 28 of the hinge elements are configured to perform a rotational movement of 180 degrees between the first and second rod sections 20, 21, and the drive 25 is also configured to implement a rotational movement of 180 degrees. The hinge arrangement 28 includes a plurality of arms 29a, 29b in a linkage mechanism. Here, the first link member 33 is pivotally connected on opposite sides to the drive 25 and the first attachment point 32a, and the second link member is pivotally connected on opposite sides to the linkage hinge 30 and the second attachment point 32b, respectively. An agricultural sprayer containing an extendable and foldable boom has the above-described assembly.
EFFECT: assembly is characterized by improved functionality for moving between adjacent sections of rods.
