FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyurethane foam containing methacrylate-based copolymers, to a method of its manufacture and to its use as an insulating material for tanks intended for the transport of liquefied gas, and, in particular, tanks of gas tankers for the transport of liquefied gas. The said polyurethane foam contains a fluorinated methacrylate copolymer (a) of the formula, methacrylate (b) containing at least one oxyalkylene group, formula and alkyl methacrylate (c) of the formula.
EFFECT: resulting polyurethane foam has both good thermal insulation properties and improved mechanical properties.
