FIELD: hydraulic structures.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, and more specifically to hydraulic structures for spillway systems with significant oscillation of culverts. Flow rate damper comprises stilling well 1, supply pressure water conduit 9, discharge pipeline 12. Well chamber 1 has a slope towards washing pit 3 formed in the bottom. Bottom hole of pit 3 is made as an annular L-shaped visor 7, the flange of which is directed downwards towards the discharge flushing pipe 6. Besides, bottom hole of pit 3 in the center is made with diameter less than diameter of hole 8 in bottom of pit. Well made by receiving chamber 1 is in the form of a pyramidal chamber, connected in the upper part by its narrowing towards additional well 11 section made in the form of a semicircle with a recess. Additional well 11 in the form of a semicircle contains a fixed barrier device in the cavity in the form of rotating turbine 14 with blades, axis 13 of which is fixed in the side walls of additional well 11. Outlet of additional well 11 for discharge of clean water with discharge pipeline 12 (to consumer). Damping shield 15 on the axis of rotation 16 with an elastic compression spring 7 is fixed on the side walls in the upper part of the well under the cover, so that it creates a through hole in the direction of inclination to the side surface of the wall of pyramidal chamber 1 of the well. Sediment of fine sediments will flow through bottom hole 5 into discharge flushing pipe 6, and clean water is supplied upwards to consumer.

EFFECT: damper ensures efficiency of operation due to water energy damping stepwise in plan view and along the damper height.
