FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used to absorb water flow after pressure water conduits in a water cushion. The upper part of the water cushion of the water flow energy absorber is equipped with a vertical rotating shaft, which has at the lower end a damping bowl with bent ends upward at the point of narrowing of the additional expanding chamber, which is connected to the well, while the middle part of the rotating shaft is rigidly equipped through the hub by fairings made in the form of two identical blades, at a distance of 1/3 of their length from the shaft, levers of the same length are hinged, the opposite ends of which are hinged on the bushing with the possibility of its movement along the shaft, while a compression spring is placed between the hub and the bushing, wherein the reflective blades perform their movement by means of rotation of the drive shaft.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of work along the path of an unsteady fluid flow, due to local collisions of the pulsating flow of water towards the water cushion, simplifying the design and reducing bottom velocities in the flow.
