FIELD: communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cellular telephones that provide optical laser communication and the ability to select one or more available physical channels. For this purpose, the telephone contains a transceiver placed in the housing for transmitting and receiving radio signals, a circuit for processing the mentioned signals, which, during operation, communicates with the transceiver and microprocessor, a storage device, a button panel, a display, a battery equipped with an electro-optical module for measuring distances, areas, volumes and processing of measurement results, during operation it communicates with the microprocessor, which is configured to block the operation of the latter when an incoming telephone call is received; containing a photo/video camera, the viewfinder of which is connected to a display with the ability to display, photograph and save information about the target object on it. In this case, the device contains an optical laser transceiver placed in the housing with the following functions: measuring the level of the input signal and controlling the emitted signal, providing joint focusing with a photo/video camera on a similar subscriber device or base station, configured with the possibility of information exchange via an optical laser channel, and electrical and information communication of device elements according to the “connection of each element with each” type is provided by the system bus.
EFFECT: increased number of mobile communication information channels through the use of orthogonal radio and optical laser channels.
