FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling switching power supply can be used, for example, in power systems to convert and stabilize DC voltage. The proposed method of controlling a switching power supply is aimed at reducing power losses for switching, heat generation on the power components of the primary circuit of the inverter and increasing the efficiency of the power supply. The effect is achieved by the fact that in the method of controlling a switching power supply, based on pulse modulation of the inverter control signal, the current value of the current in the load circuit is measured, digitized and stored in the memory of the microcontroller, additionally, the voltage values in the primary are simultaneously measured, digitized and stored in the memory of the microcontroller inverter circuits, programmatically calculate the positions of the voltage minimums when the inverter switches are turned off and, depending on the current value of the current in the load circuit, select that minimum, at the moment of which a signal is sent from the microcontroller to turn on the inverter switches, which ensures switching of the inverter power switches at the minimum voltage on them and stabilization of the current on the load.
EFFECT: claimed method makes it possible to reduce losses during energy conversion in the inverter, which leads to an increase in the efficiency of the power source and a decrease in heat generation in heat-loaded components of the circuit.
