FIELD: spring-type accumulators.
SUBSTANCE: methods and devices for determining dissipative losses in spring-type accumulators due to internal friction. Providing the possibility of creating a simple method and a reliable device for determining internal friction losses in spring-type accumulators is achieved due to the fact that to determine the internal friction of a spring-type accumulator, the springs of the accumulator under test are placed between the supporting surfaces under the condition that the forces of the springs are directed towards each other, thus obtaining two links equal in characteristics, apply external force to one of the links of the accumulator to compress it and accumulate potential energy in it, due to which, after the end of the application of force and transferring it to the second link and back, they force the spring-type accumulator to perform harmonic oscillations, damped under the influence of internal forces friction of the spring-type accumulator, while during oscillations the values of the mutual linear movement of the contacting ends of the springs of the accumulator links are measured, and the internal friction losses in the accumulator are determined as
where h1 is the magnitude of the linear movement of the end of the support link when an external force is applied, h2 is the magnitude of the linear movement of the end of the support link in each half-cycle, s is the spring stiffness.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a simple method and a reliable device for determining internal friction losses in spring-type accumulators.
