SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices generating mechanical energy, operating principle of which is based on energy recuperation of reciprocating bodies. Technical result is achieved method of producing reciprocating motion of output link of pneumatic drive, in which the pneumatic drive output link translational movement along the guide is provided due to the electromagnetic retainers attraction force, mounted at the guide at the output link extreme right and left positions, and the return movement of the output link along the guide is provided due to the potential energy of the spring accumulator tension spring, by its ends connecting the rod end opposite to the piston and the fixed housing of the pneumatic cylinder, which is converted into kinetic energy of rod movement, opposite to piston end of which is connected to output link by flexible element, wherein the spring accumulator tension spring is imparted the potential energy during the rod movement under the action of the compressed air energy thereon.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creation of reliable quick-acting pneumatic drive with reduced power consumption.
