FIELD: acceleration equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acceleration engineering and can be used in developing betatrons with an extracted electron beam. Sector winding provides asymmetric displacement of electrons from equilibrium orbit, performing flight into edge magnetic field at preset azimuth in preset direction. Correction winding generates a magnetic field by locally changing the value of magnetic induction on the trajectory of the extracted electron beam. Magnetic field of the correction winding, depending on the direction of the magnetic induction vector, locally amplifies or weakens the edge magnetic field of the betatron electromagnet, reducing or increasing the radius of the curvilinear trajectory of the electron beam. In sector winding and correction winding quasi-triangular unipolar current pulses are formed. Correction of the axis of the extracted electron beam is carried out by adjusting the delay between the current pulses of the sector winding and the correction winding.
EFFECT: possibility to maintain invariable spatial position of beam axis at change of energy of accelerated electrons.
