FIELD: acceleration equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acceleration engineering and can be used in developing betatrons with an extracted electron beam. Sector winding provides asymmetric displacement of electrons from equilibrium orbit, performing flight into edge magnetic field at preset azimuth in preset direction. Adjustment winding forms a magnetic field by changing the trajectory of the extracted electron beam so as to direct the electron beam coaxially. Each nominal energy of accelerated electrons corresponds to the optimum value of magnetic field induction, which is required to ensure coaxiality of the electron beam and the adjustment winding. After generating the optimum value of the magnetic field induction in the adjustment winding, it is possible to level the change in the trajectory of the extracted electron beam while maintaining the coaxiality of the beam when the energy of the accelerated electrons changes. Quasi-triangular, unipolar current pulses are formed in sector and adjustment windings. Adjustment of the extracted electron beam is carried out by adjusting the delay between current pulses of the sector and adjustment windings.

EFFECT: possibility of adjusting an electron beam extracted from the betatron acceleration chamber while maintaining the spatial position of the beam axis while changing the energy of accelerated electrons.
