FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of environmentally safe photocatalytic functional materials. Disclosed is a method of forming a photocatalytic coating based on strontium bismuthate on a glass-ceramic support, involving preparation of a precursor solution in the form of organic complexes, characterized by that bismuth nitrate pentahydrate is used to prepare the precursor solution Bi(NO3)3⋅5H2O and strontium nitrate Sr(NO3)2; mixture of nitrates is ground with sorbitol in weight ratio selected from 4.62:1; 4.05:1; 6.59:1; 7.70:1; 7.92:1; 6.93:1, wherein grinding is carried out to obtain a homogeneous transparent viscous substance using a solvent; applying a precursor solution on a silicate carrier by dipping it into a prepared solution until uniform impregnation, performing subsequent air drying to obtain a film on the surface of the silicate carrier; then step-by-step annealing of the silicate carrier coated with the precursor film is carried out at temperature of 350 °C for 3 hours until complete removal of the organic component of the precursor, and then in a mode selected from: temperature 500 °C - 5 hours, temperature 600 °C - 5.5 hours or temperature 600 °C - 6 hours, heated to form a layer of photocatalytic coating of strontium bismuthate.
EFFECT: improved photocatalytic coating by creating a bismuth photocatalytic coating based on strontium bismuthate on the surface of a silicate carrier.
