FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass industry, namely to production of container glass. Disclosed is a method of producing container glass, comprising loading a charge into a glass furnace bath, melting glass mass by heating with several burners depending on the required conditions, burners are presented in an even number and are located opposite to each other in the glass furnace side walls, as well as production of glass mass. At the same time granulated charge is used with the size of granules of 2–5 mm, and the glass mass is heated by plasma-type burners. In addition, an odd number of plasma burners is used, which are located in the roof of the furnace at a ratio of one plasma burner in the roof to two plasma burners in the side walls of the glass-melting furnace.
EFFECT: acceleration of technological process at reduction of power consumption.
