FIELD: glass industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass industry, namely to production of lead crystal. Method of producing lead crystal includes loading and melting the charge, producing the finished product, wherein the charge is used in the form of granules, which are loaded into two powder feeders and fed into plasma burners, where heat treatment is carried out with two flows of plasma-forming gas from two plasma burners located in the furnace roof. Melting of granulated charge in plasma burners with subsequent clarification and homogenisation is carried out at temperature of 2,000±50 °C.

EFFECT: acceleration of technological process, which reduces power consumption.
