FIELD: glass industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass industry, namely to production of crystal glass, in particular lead crystal. Method of producing lead crystal involves charging and melting a mixture and producing the finished product. Mixture is used in the form of granules, which are loaded into two powder feeders and fed into plasma burners located in the roof of the pot furnace. Heat treatment is carried out with two flows of plasma-forming gas from two plasma burners located in the roof of the furnace. Melting of the granulated mixture is carried out at temperature of 2000±50 °C. Thereafter, the melt drops are fed into the pot furnace. Melt is homogenised by means of bubbling with exhaust plasma-forming gases through two nozzles installed in the hearth of the furnace. Then finished products are produced.

EFFECT: acceleration of technological process at reduction of energy intensity.
