SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass industry, namely to production of lead crystal. Method of producing lead crystal includes loading granulated charge into furnace and heat treatment with two flows of plasma-forming gas from two plasma burners located in furnace roof. Wherein granules of charge fall into turbulent flow of burning gases leaving plasma burners, sintered and deposited in the lower part of the furnace, where there is accumulation of sintered granules and their melting, after which the supply of the charge granules is stopped, the melt is clarified and homogenised.
