FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to methods and devices for multiphase flow metering, and can be used to determine component composition and flow rate of oil and gas production wells. When the flow of the multiphase mixture passes through the device, voltage is applied to the electrodes of the device and data obtained from the electrodes and data obtained from the sensors of the device are recorded; data obtained from sensors and electrodes of the device are transmitted to an analysis unit, into which physical and chemical indices of oil, gas and water for a given multiphase mixture are entered, in the analysis unit, based on the obtained data, determining the flow structure of the multiphase mixture and/or the volumetric content of gas in the measuring part of the device; with volume content of gas in the measuring part of the device of less than 5%, the component composition and flow rate are determined using physical and chemical indicators of oil, gas and water for a given multiphase mixture according to data obtained from pressure sensors and electrodes of the measuring part of the device, using gradient-manometric method and electric capacitance or electroresistive impedance spectroscopy and tomography; at volume content of gas in the measuring part of device from 5% to 80%, component composition and flow rate are determined using physical and chemical parameters of oil, gas and water for a given multiphase mixture according to data obtained from electrodes for electroresistive or capacitance tomography of the measuring part of the device, using electrocapacitive or electroresistive impedance spectroscopy and tomography methods; with an annular flow structure and/or with a gas volume content of more than 80%, the component composition and flow rate are determined using physical and chemical indicators of oil, gas and water for a given multiphase mixture according to data obtained from sensors and electrodes located in the narrow part of the Venturi pipe, and electrodes for electroresistive or capacitance tomography of the measuring part of the device, using electrocapacitive or electroresistive impedance spectroscopy and tomography.
EFFECT: possibility of using one device with elements, the operating principles of which are known per se, to determine the component composition and flow rate of the multiphase mixture of the flow of the well product in a wide range of composition when the composition and structure of the flow changes, providing high accuracy of determining component composition and flow rate of a multiphase mixture when changing the flow structure and volumetric content of gas in the flow, simplification of the method due to use of methods, the principles of which are known to specialists, safety of the used device for a person.
