SUBSTANCE: rectal palpation of ovaries is performed 7 and 15 days after artificial insemination to detect a functioning yellow body. On palpation of corpus luteum in 7 days probable pregnancy is diagnosed in females, and on palpation of non-ovulated follicle—dysfunction of ovaries. Repeated palpation of ovaries in 15 days shows the presence or absence of a yellow body to diagnose pregnancy or its absence in healthy females of cattle.
EFFECT: method provides determination of cattle pregnancy at early stages of pregnancy.
