METHOD FOR INCREASING FERTILIZATION OF COWS AND HEIFERS IN A SINGLE INSEMINATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A01K67/02

Abstract RU 2690657 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for increasing breeding capacity of cows and heifers in single insemination, including detection of sexual hunting by activity of animal behaviour, rectal clinical examination of genital organs and follicles of cows in sexual hunting, and insemination of cows when swollen condition of follicles, where sex system of cows and heifers is monitored for the presence of diseases by rectal clinical examination, if ovaries of normal size have a tuberous surface, or in the presence of a yellow body, or swollen follicles, and the uterus has an elastic consistency, rigid, uterine horns of the same size, a well-marked interthreshold groove, located in the pelvic cavity and freely inserted into the inner area of the slightly palm of the hand, then the genitals of the cow or heifers are healthy, then the degree of follicular maturation and the time of insemination are determined, if the follicles are swollen and have an elastic consistency or the follicle walls are slightly movable, that is, recently ovulation, then immediately insemination is performed, and cows with insufficiently swollen follicles are repeated every 1.5–2 hours with palpation of the follicle and inseminated when healthy or mature cows are matured or develop ovulation.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing the degree of heifers and cows fertilization with single insemination.
