FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing petrochemical products, particularly to an improved method for alkaline purification of pyrolysis gas in production of ethylene and propylene by pyrolysis of hydrocarbon material. Pyrolysis products are obtained in pyrolysis furnaces. Further, pyrolysis products are fractionated in a primary fractionation unit. As a result, the main flow of pyrolysis gas is obtained at the outlet of the primary fractionation unit. Main flow of pyrogas is directed to the input of the compression unit of the main flow of pyrogas. Pyrogas from the outlet of one of the stages of the compression unit is directed for alkaline purification into an alkaline purification column. Spent sulphurous-alkaline effluents from the alkaline purification column are directed to the degassing tank by means of the said effluents transfer means. Extraction of hydrocarbons from said effluents is ensured in degassing tank due to pressure reduction. Released hydrocarbons from the degassing tank are directed to the inlet of one of the stages of the compression unit of the main flow of pyrogas.
EFFECT: increased output of commercial products due to reduced losses of hydrocarbons during degassing of sulphur-alkaline solution.
