FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building and can be used as a wheelchair chassis to overcome stair flights of general use. Sphere propulsor consists of two coaxial hemispherical segments of the same radius on horizontal hinges with drives of independent rotation of each segment and tension rod of controlled counter turn of segments. Each hemispherical segment is made of a system of pneumatic chambers with bends in diameters, assembled on a frame base mounted on its horizontal hinge. Tension rod of controlled counter turn of segments is made according to scheme of hinged single/double coupling, having flexible limit stop in the form of double-sided spring of telescopic type.
EFFECT: enabling the sphere propulsor manufacturing technology simplification, which is used as wheelchair chassis for movement both on loose soils and on solid support surfaces with overcoming of obstacles in the form of ditches, thresholds, borders, escarpments, including stair flights of general use.
