SUBSTANCE: invention relates to off-road vehicles and can be used in the chassis of wheelchairs for overcoming the latest flights of stairs in wheeled mode. The wheelchair drive actuator is mounted on onboard support devices with electrically driven drive wheels. The drive mechanism is made in the form of a horizontally oriented connecting rod with parallel cranks. In the middle part of the connecting rod there is a gear wheel with an internal gear diameter D, with which a driven gear wheel with a diameter D/2 external gear is connected. The function of the cranks is performed by the rims of two equal-sized onboard low-pressure pneumatic wheels.

EFFECT: increase in the functionality of wheelchairs is achieved.
