SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to fire extinguishing means, in particular to devices that create pressure inside a tank, a module with a fire extinguishing agent, and to fire extinguishing systems for kitchen equipment. A gas generator of a fire extinguishing module is proposed, including a housing with a cover in which an electroactivator is installed; inside the housing there are a checker gas-generating charge, a combustion chamber and an elastic element contacting at one end with the end surface of the charge, and the housing is equipped with a combustion products outlet with inlet and outlet openings; the combustion products discharge unit additionally contains a combustible insert and a locking element connected to each other, configured to interact with the outlet openings; the elastic element at its other end interacts with the unit for exhausting combustion products.

EFFECT: preventing clogging by elements of the destructible membrane of the outlet openings of the gas generator, as well as pipelines for the distribution of fire extinguishing agent of the fire extinguishing system of kitchen equipment.
