FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for separation of traffic flows by baffle plates on roads and highways. Road baffle consists of a concrete block installed on a road separation strip, on opposite sides of which, facing the traffic lanes, there are shaped damper elements. Concrete block is made with through cavities, in which there are installed damping elements in the form of at least one automobile tire, which protrudes equally on both sides of the block with formation of discrete elastic damping elements. Damping elements can be made of at least two folded car tires in one cavity with formation of prefabricated damping elements. Also, the damper elements can be made of three folded car tires, besides, the middle tire has a larger diameter than the extreme ones.
EFFECT: simplified design of baffle plate, reduced energy of impact at collision of vehicle with baffle plate.
